Free Gift!
How would you like a free gift? There are no strings attached. You do not have
to pay anything. No salesmen will visit. You have heard many times that nothing
is free. This is the exception. To receive this free gift all you have to do is
ask for it. I would like to tell you about the free gift of salvation through
Jesus Christ. You must be aware of three things to receive the gift.
1. I am a sinner and the penalty for sin is death.
Everyone is a sinner. The only person who was not a sinner was Jesus Christ.
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
The penalty for sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
2. God loves you!
He loved you so much that He sent his son to die in your place.
- For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
3. Jesus died for your sins and his blood cleanses
you from sin.
Jesus died for you. He took your punishment and his blood can cleanse you
from sin.
- Christ died for our sins- He was buried and rose again the third day,
according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3,4
Now that you know these three things,
will you accept the Lord Jesus into your heart to be your savior? He will
take away your sins and give you eternal life. You will be his child and He
will be your Father. John 1:12
All you have to do to accept him is to say this simple prayer.
- Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus died for my sins. Please forgive me
of my sins. I accept Jesus as my savior and ask Him to come into my heart.
Thank you for saving me and loving me.
Amen
If you accepted the Lord as your Savior today please email me and let me
know so I can rejoice with you and pray for you. I would also like to give
some things to help you now that you are saved.
If you read this page and still have not received the Lord as your Savior, I
pray for you that you will do so before it is too late. Don't be like these
people when the Lord comes back.
